How to Draw Spike
Step 1. Make two circle shapes, and then add one face guide. The two shapes should not connect together.
Step 2. Now you can draw out the actual shape of Spike's face and head like you see here. Don't forget the left cheek, and then draw in the framing that shapes out his face. Draw the snout and move to step three.
Step 3. Here you will draw out Spike's spikes, and then draw out the frill on the side of his head. Lastly draw the other side of his head and then some of the neck.
Step 4. Here all you have to do is draw in his eyes which are sort of squared and then thicken the eyelids. Draw a nose hole, and then some teeth which hang over his mouth.
Step 5. Draw in the slit eyeballs, and then draw out the eyebrows. Add a mouth line and then draw out the actual eyeballs.
Step 6. Okay everyone, you are ready to draw out Spike's chest, and then his chubby arms and hands. Make the hump for the butt and then move along.
Step 7. Finish his body by draw the tail, legs, toes, and pointed arrow tipped tail.
Step 8. Finish drawing out the spikes on the back and tail, and then draw out the stripes on the chin, chest, and under the tail. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.
